Hi there! I'm Joy-Zahara-Bina, but you can simply call me JZB. I proudly wear the hats of a London-based photographer and creative director.
My journey into the captivating world of photography took an unexpected turn. Unlike my other artistic pursuits that ignited when I was merely 4 years old—think acting, painting, sketching, singing, dancing, and make-up artistry—photography came knocking a bit later in my life. The unexpected spark occurred during my enthralling mini-Asia escapade in 2017, which spanned China, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. At the age of 21, I unexpectedly found myself becoming the designated photographer among my dear friends, capturing the essence of our adventures.
Zooming ahead to 2019, I decided to turn my sporadic passion for photography into more than just a hobby; it became my career path. This creative pivot followed my graduation from Law at the University of Kent. Photography seemed to be the natural fit at that time, and little did I know how deeply I would come to adore it. Over the course of nearly 4 years, I've developed a profound connection with the art of capturing immaculate and polished portraits, events, behind-the-scenes moments, and now, gradually venturing into the realm of weddings. My lens has had the privilege of capturing moments for renowned entities like Sony Music, BBC, The British Interactive Media Association, The Creative Mentor Network, Resurgo, and The Local Globe.
